After passing class 12th with good marks, I went Kota for my JEE preparation with high hopes . I thought that after preparing from there I will get good IIT next year . I was highly motivated to work hard in my studies .
This review is applicable for every coaching institute in Kota .
After going Kota, I took admission in Resonance . I got 40% scholarship since I had qualified JEE advance . Even after getting 40% scholarship fees was still very high .
Apart from fees, other expense that you will face in Kota is your living cost . And this is even higher than coaching fees . I used to pay around 10k per month which included rent, food, water, electricity, etc .
After joining Resonance, I found out that , there were multiple batches which were running in institute . So, only a handful of students, whos are in top batches, get the best teachers there and most of teachers are not great at teaching . So, if you are not in one of the top batches, you will be taught by mediocre teachers .
Now, I will summarize why you shouldn’t go to any coaching institute in Kota:
1 - Very high expenses which are definitely not worth it
2 - Very bad food in hostel mess, which can mess with your health
3 - If you are thinking to go Kota after 12th, then you will be wasting another year, which is again not worth it , until you are getting some top IIT and whose probability is minimum .
