I had applied for services from Resume2Excel https://resume2excel.com/ for 3500 for charges with regards to Resume Forward. They had said that they will send across Job Descriptions (JDs) across for my desired job profile and technology.
There were no more charges were also stated. I got from them 2 JDs after I got and after that nothing. And on the top of that the two I got were irrelevant to my profile.
A month later on Feb 10th I called them asking what was wrong and why I didn’t get any JDs across. My call was put across to Ajay Koushik a manager from Resume2Excel who said he’ll call back and didn’t even bother doing the same. This was a pathetic let down. The next day, I called the company and asked to speak with the same person and I get a call back from some other person whom I don’t recall the name of. The person said that the process is incomplete. I need to avail the verification process which charges 4350 and only then will I get the JDs sent across.
When asked if the service I had applied for will not be availed by itself and doesn’t verification be a part of the package they said "No". The same person also stated that only if the money be paid for verification can the resume forward be moved forward.
Frankly it was a disappointment. The service, it seems even though can be cancelled can’t be refunded. Can something be done for this by the government?
