Located at Brigade Road, Bengaluru which is one of the most happening area of the city, Rex theatre is simply disappointing.
It offers two ranges of seatings namely Stall and Balcony. The balcony section is somewhat okay but in the stall section the seats are very badly arranged, meaning if a tall someone is sitting infront of you, you can surely say goodbye to the movie. The sound is fine but not loud so its common not to hear some dialogues in case there is huge cheer for them.
The experience during rush hours is horrible. There is very very less parking space and the huge crowd is left unmanged. The theatre area is also less and congested and the seats are few in numbers. The food courts present inside the campus offer edibles at exceptionally high costs.
Overall the only good thing about the theatre is that during peak hours we can get tickets if we try 2-3 hours before the show. So in my opinion this theatre is not so good but can be considered as a last option in case you do not find tickets somewhere else.
