I read a few reviews on Richard Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty at an AIDS awareness function.I feel that we carry moral values too seriously on our shoulders. In that process, we not only judge the world from our own perspective but typecast or label people as good or bad. Who are we to do this- I think if we all looked at our own actions and corrected them, this world would be a much better place to live in. Now my questions- if Shilpa Shetty had such a problem with Richard Gere kissing her, why didnt she protest, raise a hue and cry or even slap him? Dont be naive people and try to understand everything that you read or hear in the media! Instead of blaming Richard Gere, let us look at the whole picture and then pass a comment .
This incident reminds me of the Rakhi Sawant- Mika kssing incident that had raised such a hue and cry in media channels. What was the end result of the whole exercise- RAKHEE SAWANT BECAME FAMOUS! The media causes enough damage to the minds of simple naive individuals, especially young boys and girls. Its high time media took responsibility for what it projects to the 1 billion plus population of this country.
