I'd give us 20mins till our first arse rapeing!

Road Trip has been called the second American Pie. While I didn’t think it was anything like Amerian Pie, I can see why people have said it, and yes, it’s true, if you liked American Pie, you’ll love Road Trip.

So what’s it all about? Well, basically two lovers who have been together since they were about have got to the stage in their life when they have got to go off to University. However, one problem, they are both going to different universities which are 1800 miles apart. They make a pact that they will be faithful to each other but this becomes a bit hard, especially with all the new talent in the different Uni.’s!

So, they stay faithful for a while until Josh (Breckin Meyer) meets Beth (Amy Smart), the girl who all the lads would love to get into their bed! Beth is up for this with Josh, but Josh wants to stay faithful to Tiffany (Rachael Blanckard). However, things progress and he can’t help himself, tiffany will never find out right/ She’s 1800 miles away. Wrong! Beth decides to make a tape of the two doing the business which then gets mailed to tiffany instead of the video that Josh made her to tell her how much he loves her and is missing her.

And this is where it all starts! Josh and his mates decide to try to intercept the video by driving 1800 miles to the other university and get there before the video does.

So, that’s the basic outline of the movie, it all really starts from there. The things they get up to on the way are hilarious and make the film what it is. Josh, E.L (Sean William Scott), Rubin (Paulo Costanzo) and Kyle (DJ Qualls) all set off on their adventure, and what a superb adventure it is. What can four lads in a car get up to? Well, heres a few things they could do…

How about stealing a bus for the blind from a blind receptionist? Making sperm donations for a bit of extra money? Getting your granddad stoned? Trying to jump over a broken bridge…..and theres a lot more!

This film is very funny and is a true teen flick that doesn’t wear your mind out at all. Kyle, one of the characters in the movie portrays a true geek, but steels the movie with the stuff he gets up to. The trick in this film is to watch for the detail.

I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who is prepared to sit back and have a laugh. If you like a deep plot in a movie, then this isn’t the one for you, but as I have said before, if you like things like American Pie, this film is going to be right up your alley!

Go rent it now, its well worth the money
