If you are expecting it’s a sequel of Rock On and they are going to do something great, it’s better to keep your expectations low before entering the cinema hall.
Storyline try to build the momentum by Farhan Akhtar’s staying away from his family due to the emotional trauma of suicide of one of his crazy fan which he don’t even know( yeah, I know, unrealistic! ). Momentum building attempt works fine. And in the end as expected they perform their song in rebellious manner, fighting injustice.
Movie is fine but the only trouble is the huge expectations of audience due to it’s prequel. But if you don’t keep the expectations, you may even like it.
