Who so ever calls this movie "Good", I would say, has lost his/her sense of judgement. With a funny movie title but intriguing promos, the audience would surely be hooked to watch this badly made movie. Frankly, I lost my calm after watching Rocky Handsome and pitied all those who wasted their time and money like me!
The director Nishikant Kamat must have thought that John’s wrestler like body and fight scenes would be a great hot among the masses. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. There were action sequences, there was blood shed- But all unnecessary, unwanted, forced fitted. I have nothing to talk about the story because there was none.
A special forces agent who lost his wife in a terrorist attack leads a lonely life in Goa. His drug addicted neighbour is a single mom who has a little girl Naomi, often left alone in the house. Naomi finds a friend in Handsome(John) and keeps visiting him while the latter keeps her safe and lets her sleep in his house. With sudden course of events in the dark underworld, Naomi’s mom dies of drug abuse and Naomi gets kidnapped by a child trafficker. Handsome crosses all huddles, goes on a killing spree to rescue the girl. God knows why!
The movie ends, of course with her rescue, dead villains and frustrated audience like me.
I can only give a star for the last fight sequence in the climax of the movie. Does not deserve more than that.
