Rohtang pass is a very beautiful place and one of its own kind. It is located at the height of 3979 metres and 51km from Manali. The best time to visit this pass is from May to November only. This pass is on the highway of keylong/leh.This pass is also called pile of corpses because a lot of people die here because of their death due bad weather.
This pass is a hotspot for nature lovers. You can enjoy a lot of activities here like snow scooter, mountain Biking and skiing. This is a perfect place for nature lovers as from this pass they can enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of snow capped glaciers.This place is the scene stealer of this pass.
On the way of the pass one of the most attractive place occurs and that is a stunning and beautiful waterfall rahala which is 16km from the Manali. This waterfall fall from a height of 2, 500 metres. Here You can take memorable pictures to capture one of the finest art of god. This is not tough to cross this pass but because of its unknown timing of snowstorms and dangerous curves of road where only the trained driver can drive. Better to take bus or jeep to go on this pass.
Avoid to go in the summer season as you can stuck in jam for hours because in the summer season this pass become a alternate military route.
