I have been a regular visitor to this place since my college days and the fondness still remains.
In the mornings you will see the morning walkers stopping for breakfast after their walk. The office goers, students, youth, retired citizens all find this place inviting.
Though this place tends to be crowded most of the time once you sit in the restaurant its a very homely feeling.
All south Indian dishes are a must try but Wada Sambar and Filter coffee are my personal favorites.
The location is a very strategic one on FC Road and cannot be missed.
I am very fond of this restaurant but somehow when I visited this restaurant this Sunday was disappointed with the counter staff. It so happened that we ordered for coffee and the cup in which coffee was served had a big crack. We happened to inform this to the counter staff(whom I suppose are from the owner family) they did ask the waiter and another person to check for broken cups but what I saw from outside the restaurant is they were kind of mockingly laughing at us.
We have been loyal customers of this place for years now but this incident has really left me disillusioned about the hospitality of this place.
Hope the staff or family members are taught some lessons in hospitality.
