Roopkund is awesome place to visit. I did trekking form INDIAHIKES for 7 days and that was lifetime experience for me.
Gone through from Deep forests, breath-taking campsites, miles of undulating meadows, snow and ice and the taste of a great adventure as we climb from 8, 000ft to 16, 000ft.
It started from Kathgodam Railway station drive by road till base camp Lohajung 7700 feet from sea level. First day Trek starts from Lohajung to Gheroli patal.Day 2 Gheroli patal to Bedni Bugyal.Day 3 Bedni Bugyal to Patar Nachauni.Day 5 Patar Nachauni to Bhagwabhasa.Day 6 Bhagwabhasa to Roopkund. then back to base camp.
