I know some of you are really cult fan of this bike. I used it for around 6 months…which was owned by one of my friend.
There are Enfield clubs and all. The people riding it feel they are macho…but it is all in psychology. First of all bike is not for city riding…at least not in India. With bumper to bumper traffic you can’t keep accelerating that noisy silencer. The bike is way too heavy…
I understand that it is meant that way…but good for stability on highways. In city riding you actually have to carry it. For example if you ride it for 10 KMs from office to home…I bet you will be exhausted. Two reasons for that, and I am serious about it:
1.When you are riding the bike(ok, take me seriously, I am not joking, it happens with everyone) you get the false feeling that you are getting attention and in reply you try to maintain that kind of attitude in your body language…and keep thinking that everybody is looking at you…lol…no…it is just a psychological effect. That happens because of heaviness, noisy silencer and the brand image of Bullet(Bullet chale to duniya rasta de etc kind of stuff)…but that is the myth…riding on it is actually a tiresome job…but finally you have purchased it at whooping cost you cannot even let your mind think that you have made a wrong choice.
2.In city traffic carrying all that stiff attitude I mentioned above and you are consistently changing the gears…you get irritated overall. So, I think bullet riders are violent or violent people choose bullet or something like that…(it is my personal opinion) If you are reading it seriously you will agree to this fact that…if you have observed lot of goon(gunda) types of people have bullet.) And they love to make that noise which kills the cells in my ears.
I hate it when someone passes close to me on bullet. I feel like slapping them(I am sorry for the language, but I have faced lot of nights hearing this one noisy sound passing through my window) but you cannot even slap them because they are gunda types.
Anyways basically what I want to tell you is no person with descent sense of society or manners would buy this bike. I mean how can you love irritating people with that noise…yes I have seen bullet owners enjoying it. They think that girls are attracted to them etc but the fact is different.
Lol…this one is the product which should be banned on the basis of morals and ethics…or basic human rights or under noise pollution act. Isn’t this bikes were created for the purpose of using them in all terrains during war…why are we using it now. Try some really simple bike. The mileage is not above 35Km/ltr so affordability is out of question. Also, starting it is a big task(if you do not go for electric start…and if you go for electric start you are not macho enough) if you by any chance gets the reverse kick below your knee…you are on the bed for 2 months. I am not saying it happens to everybody but why to be that somebody who gets his leg fractured for starting the bike. Lol. Strange. I would suggest you some fancy sports bike instead of this. All the above mentioned text is my personal opinion, do not judge me on that…I am just sharing my honest opinion…that is what we do here on mouthshut.com Isn’t it?
