I am new to this site and I want your’s advice on classic 500 efi which I am planning to buy.I’ve heard many problems in this bike like= rusting in under frames and under seat, instability above 80+ km/ph, heavily smokes during cold start, air filter surrounding area is not packed fully so its engine inhales dust inside, spark plug gets burst, paint quality is not up to the mark, engine makes sound while it gets on reserve or low fuel, rear brakes are risky to apply on high speed, chain strikes or make sound while bumping, the bike is very difficult to drive under 60 KM/PH or in city traffic, electronic system is not good, major problem of royal enfields oil leakage under kick liver and other parts, the original seat is not good as it comes in terms of handling.
Pls pls pls everybody who owns this beast, I have very large amount of respect towards the ROYAL ENFIELD CLASSIC 500 EFI. DON’T TAKE MY QUERIES PERSONALLY AS I HEARD THIS NEGATIVE POINTS FROM MANY USERS. I wan’t to buy this bike, but after hearing this problems in this bike, I am little terrorized, pls help me, and tell me your bike’s problems too.
