I own a gt and absolutely love it. It has great power, great tyres, amazing breaking capability, decent mileage, and is drop dead gorgeous. It certainly takes your breath away every time you ride it. An amazing bike in its own right.
But it comes with several problems, major ones for me are spare parts unavailability and starting trouble. My bike is a little under three months old and has developed starting trouble already. I changed the battery once but the issue restarted in less than a week.
I had to change my battery cabin outer pannel( because, it just fell off the bike while I was on electronic city fly over, yes it just fell off) and it took 3 weeks and a complaint directly with the company for me to get the part.
On top of that, the authorized service centers lack responsibility. They are always ready to put the blame on someone else. Considering how much the bike costs( I paid 2.34 lakhs as on road price) this is bad. That is not an amount you should be paying for a machine that develops starting trouble in 40 days.
Buying it is a decision one takes with the heart and is completely illogical. There are far better bikes for the same price. Having said all this, driving the bike is a experience I cherish a lot. That’s the only reason I a giving it this many stars.
