Expectations where high.Everyone everywhere, including leading auto magazines where all interested in this upcoming Adventure touring bike from RE ramge of motorcycles.I wasnt an alien either, even i was very keen on this bike, and as soon as its booking date was announced i was the first to rush towards my nearest showroom and book one.After buying it all i was left with was bunch of dissapointments, first of all riding it in traffic is a very hectic job being made for Indian customers seating position is too high.Secondly i noticed paint quality being so poor, Thirdly this bike lacks something thats there in everyother RE bikes.Let it be a mettalic outlook, the beat, the feel of durability , sturdiness of front fork everything is of very low quality.There are some incidents that made me sell my bike!those are
1.I was heart broken when the inner paint chipped off and blocked the fuel passage of my bike.
2.A friend of mine took it for a ride dashed it in the median trust it was the most lightest dash ive ever seen, i still remeber me dashimg wantedly with my yezdi in rash driving cars, but this particular bikes fork’s built is as fragile as a sugar cane i guess.It literally caved in.
3.being an oil cooled engine, youd expect it to be better at cooling but guess what this heats up worser than any other RE bike.
4.Thinking it to be an offroader bike i took it to water stagnant area in chennai rainy season and trust me ive even crossed such low depth water on my impulse but this bike is not fit to be called as an offroader at all.It is a name sake off roading bike.
I lost all my faith and at last had to sell it in olx.Such a pathetic bike.Dont even think about investing your money in such a bad product.Select adventure tourers from some other brand.
