We, family of three with one infant visited Matheran in April 2011. We booked Royal Hotel by reading reviews. The Hotel was very good, staff were very polite and courteous. The quality and taste of the food provided by them was very very good and tasty. Unlike other complimentary plans I experience earlier, this was truly different, the hotel never count the quantity of food you are eating. Even for the infant they provided hot milk and water.
The hotel has swimming pool, which was quite clean. Childrens were enjoying the see saw and other activities there.
Overall, I will suggest to go for this hotel, if I visit Matheran once again.
