I stayed on 27th Oct in this hotel, positives are: I am a RoG member, I used my free night stay and the good thing is that its entirely, not a rupee is charged as tax, maintenance etc. The property is located at an excellent location. Decent food. Courteous staff
There are host of things that can be improved like: The upholstery used in the rooms are very old and unattractive The bathrooms are connected with common pipes, so whenever I use the flush or tap water the neighboring rooms can hear as well. So its very annoying and disturbing. The gym has good equipment but no Gym instructor or even an extension to call reception for help, I had to return back without using the gym
The hotel has no facilities other than gym and roof top swimming pool. Not sure how uts rated a 5* hotel
The property will be let out to some public events like reception, marriage etc and you will lose all the privacy and the place gets niosier.
The moment you step out of the reception area (to parking or the gate ) you will be welcomed by a filthy drain water smell. The old and new buildings are not inetrconnected, so to go the swimming pool and gym, you’ll have to come all the way down and ate another lift to reach to these places
My gut feeling is that I wasted my complimentary night voucher and would have been better if I had cjosen another property. This is merely because, the hotel has no facilities for a person who wants just relax, stay at the hotel and chill out. There is no recreation facilities at all.
Considering all this I don’t think this hotel deserves the price it is charging, I can get a hotel with all amenities for the price I am paying here.
