We visited Tadoba Forest in the month of May along with friends and their families. We looked for available options to stay at Tadoba and we came to know about the new Royal Tiger Resort in Tadoba from a friend and decided to try it. This resort has been started recently and has 3 types of suites and a dormitory. Since we were a group of 8 adults and 3 children, we rented 2 Super Deluxe suites and 2 Deluxe ones. The interiors of both kinds of rooms were very neat and were tastefully done.
The hotel serves vegetarian food only, which was very good. It is equipped with kids play area, souvenir shop.
The best part of this hotel is that its staff is quite knowledgeable about the forest and they were very helpful in setting up the jungle safaris for us.
The hotel management seemed to be very conscious about nature. The hotel does not use plastic disposable cutlery. Water heating and general lighting is done using solar power. We liked this aspect of the hotel a lot.
When we returned from the jungle safari the staff welcomed us and provided scented face wipes which was a nice gesture considering we visited the forest in the heat of May!
Overall our stay was very comfortable.
