RJ Balaji takes a brave step away from his comfy zone of comedy movies with his thriller, Run Baby Run. Not just any thriller, though – this is a thriller unlike any other, with a narrative driven by its cast of intriguing characters and Sathya as its central figure.
The story kicks off with the tragic suicide of medico Sophie(Smruthi Venkat) from her college building. Sathya(RJ Balaji), meanwhile, is busy with wedding shopping as he prepares to marry Isha Talwar. But when an unknown woman(Aishwarya Rajesh) sneaks into his car, he finds himself in an unexpected situation. She pleads for him to offer her refuge from danger, and after much deliberation, Sathya agrees – only to find her dead in his bathroom the next day. With the body on his hands, Sathya is thrown into a chaotic scenario he must try to escape.
