This is in continuation of my complaint about the product quality. After I first lodged my complaint in September and reminded the company thrice, finally someone contacted me in Jan giving a reason that the complaint was not seen in their Inbox( beats me, thrice complained and there is no message they got).
After several calls from this person investigating the complaint wherein I was interrogated time and again to check if I have misused/abused the product, I was asked to send the product. Their quality team comes with observations like this and unwilling to accept the defect inspite of the product being given to them
The sole has been put in water consistently. Now I just commute between office and home and with very low exposure to road.
I was told that the sole is not a toughened leather sole but a synthetic one. Then why should it get affected by water even if someone has at times travelled during monsoon?
There were black powdery substance found on surface. I polished the shoe before sending it to them and they are unable to distinguish between a polish and an extraneous matter.
They straightened the sole which was awkwardly wavy.This was sent to me for testing if the problem has been rectified. At the onset I found it ridiculous. How can an intrinsic problem of the sole get solved just by straightening it?
I was asked to test it and see.
Having gone through several calls from their side, I just took the shoe as I found it useless to further discuss with the company when their quality teams standard of evaluation and suggestion was simply senseless.
The better thing would have been to replace the product.
And guess what- I just used the shoe for 2 days and the sole again is distorted in shape.
I had also purchased one more pair around the time my first shoe was purchased. The upper developed wrinkles in just 1 month. I was asked to send photos etc but then no one followed up.
So freinds, pl do not go by the look of their showroom and the appearance of their product. The quality sucks big time.
