Jai Kishan back again…sorry Jackie Chan back again in Rush Hour 3
I am fan of the first two Rush Hour films, coz I watched my favorite Zyang Zhi in a short performance. In the first ’Rush Hour’ Jackie Chan was unleashed on the Los Angeles streets, the Hong Kong hungama in the second, in ’Rush Hour 3’ take you Paris, from the bottom of the Paris sewers to the top of the Eiffel tower.Three years after the end of ’Rush Hour 2’, Carter (Chris Tucker) is no longer a detective, but a traffic guard on the streets of Los Angeles. Lee (Jackie Chan) is now the bodyguard for his friend Ambassador Han (Tzi Ma), Lee’s girlfriend, Secret Service agent Isabella Molina, an event which led to their breakup.
Detectives Lee and Carter travel to Paris to track down a Chinese mafia gang that has shot diplomat Han in LA. Lee learns that the bullet had missed Han’s heart and that he will make a full recovery. Han’s daughter, Soo Yung (Zhang Jinchu), arrives and makes Lee and Carter promise to capture the one behind the assassination in order to ensure her father’s safety.
Then she informs Lee and Carter that her father gave her an envelope which contains important information regarding the mafia head, and that envelope is in her locker at the martial arts studio where she works. Lee and Carter make their way to the martial arts studio where they fight with a giant, (Sun Ming Ming), but a gang of armed men had already reached there and taken the contents of the locker.
Lee and Carter realize that Soo Yung and Han are in danger and rush back to the hospital. notice that the security and staff have all disappeared. Yung explains that they had all been called away. At that moment, a gang of assassins arrive to kill Yung and Han. Lee and Carter manage to defeat them. For her protection, they take her to the French Embassy and leave her under the care of Reynard, the French ambassador Lee and Carter decide to go to Paris to investigate.
In Paris, the two attempt to investigate a triad hideout disguised as a club. Carter meets a beautiful woman named Genevieve (Noemie Lenoir) and is immediately love-strucked. However, Lee and Carter are both forced out of the club and after a harrowing car chase, are captured by the Triads. They manage to escape by leaping into the city sewers.
As the ambassador is about to disclose the identity of an important leader of the Asian underworld, he’s shot by a gunman Kenji (Hiroyuki Sanada) who has ties to Chan. Kenji calls and informs Lee that he has captured Soo Yung and that he would like to exchange Soo Yung for Genevieve.
Lee arrives at the exchange point, the Eiffel Tower, with Carter, who was disguised as Genevieve. Kenji then challenges Lee as the two are fighting, During the fight, Lee and Kenji fall off the tower, leaving both men hanging on for dear life. Lee then grabs Kenji’s arm, intending to save his life. Kenji tells Lee that if he holds on, both of them will die, but Lee is confident that he can still save him. Kenji then willingly lets go of Lee and falls to his death, saving Lee’s life.
As six years after some have questioned on the occasion of India’s 60 years independence celebration King Khan’s movie ’Chak De India’ and Salman’s ’Marigold’ getting around need to revisit the characters of ’Rush Hour 3’ at all. Whether it’s a hit or not.
By the way you will find sequences of action violence, some sexual content, digital effect, and nudity buddy-action-comedy series in high budget movie ’Rush Hour 3’
