This is a true story based upon the real life of Naval Officer K M Nanavati, who shot & killed his wife’s lover Prem Bhagawan Ahuja in 1959 as when he discovered his wife’s relationship with his best friend.Patriotic journey of naval officer as Akshay Kumar is the backbone of this movie.The best song of this movie is " Tere Sang Yaara " by Atif Aslam. It is not the first movie as director Gulzar made a film titled " Achanak " Based on the Nanavati case in 1973. in movie Rustom there is no navy action. Rustom deviates dangerously & indiscriminately from the original crime. Rustom kills not only for love, but also for the country. Really this is a good movie.
