The musical show on Zee T.V Sa Re Ga Ma, now re-christened Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is simply mind blowing! Watching the show makes you think that there is so much talent in our country which is yet to be explored n shows like this, are boon for many aspiring singers who want to make a mark for themselves. Aired on Zee T.V every friday at 10 pm, the show is just so awesome that one gets addicted to it!
Hats-off to the Director of the show, Gajendra Singhji who conceptualised it and today the show has made a place in every ones heart. I am a die hard fan of this show, n the songs of the golden era sung by the participants are so melodious that one automatically feels to lip sync with the participants.
It is because of this show that many people have got an oppurtunity to showcase there hidden talent. the best example which can be sighted is that Shreya Ghoshal who is creating waves in the film industry coz of her melodious voice was first sighted in one of the episodes of Sa Re Ga Ma, n rest as they say is history!
But this opinion will be incomplete without mentioning gratitude to the musicians of the show who have been loyal to it since the day it made its debut on Zee T.V! The host of the show ’Shaan’ who himself is a well established playback singer today has really done justice to his job...!
The best part about the show is that the the participants are judged by eminent personalities of music industry, right from O.P Nayyarji who is one of the loyal judges of the programme to latest being Shankar Ehasaan and Loy who gave the music for ’Dil Chata Hai’ n now there work is being seen in the movie ’Lakshaya’. Being judged by such legends is itself a reward fo the lucky ones who made it to the platform for showing there singing talent. And it is not a cakewalk participating in the programme, numerous research goes in to the selection for the right kind of participant, right from there background, to kind of training in singing and any previous participation in singing competitions etc...!
