After this ’’American Idol’’ invasion in india and other
parts of the world.. Yes SA RE GA MA PA is very old ,
but Nowadays after watching so many similar programs..
I feel
Do we really want more FILMY SINGERS or We need more
Engineers/Doctors/Architectures/Scientists or Do we need
more Bhimsen Joshi’s ?
After watching these IDOL Programs/ Sa Re Ga Ma Pa/ and what not ...
I always feel Does ’’just’’ Girls wearing Skimpy Clothes or
Dance Bars is spoiling the Youth ?
Nops .. I have a gut feeling that these Glamour Programs are also
majorly spoiling today’s children :( You might disagree .. You might
think its Wrong way of looking at things ..
But just let me clarify my stand ..then reach to your decision guys ..
I am not against .. Children aspiring to become somebody ..
I am of this opnion Society must have HEROES/IDOLS.. so that
the next generation follow them..
But How much are these programs really helping that cause ?
Today I see .. every Slum Child .. or Middle Class Child ..want to
become a FILM SINGER an Indian Idol :( It has replaced the aspirations
to become a Pilot, an Engineer an Doctor.. an Navy/Army/AirForce Officer..
We are falling short of Talent in Defense services..
We Look at the Taj Mahal and say WoW ??
We Look at the Jain Temples at Mount Abu and say WoW ?
What next ??
Where is the Modern Marvel that India could have produced if the
Generations of these creators where nurtured .. ??
Why can’t India come up with another beautiful Architecture ??
You know why ... coz Kids are aspiring to become FILMY SINGERS :(

who will give Million Rupees to a Guy .. who will Come up with a
Brilliant Idea like Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur :(
Why cant a Program Come with a Prize of 1 Million Rupees..
asking for a GREAT MUMBAI LOCAL TRAIN DESIGN ??
which has sitting and Fresh Air for a particular number of passengers ?
Why cant we have a Program inviting Superb Cartoon Ideas ..
Like Finding Nemo ..?? Hanuman .. Tenali Rama .. Chacha Chowdhary .. ??
I say just give 1 Million Rupees . to such talented guys in the Indian society
Why cant we see a Program with 1 Million Rupee Prize ..
for GREAT INNOVATIVE IDEAS ..
Do we not believe in our talents ?
Let them prove .. let them come-up with Brilliant ideas..
don’t let them slip through the cracks in our system ..
with just a Narayan Murthy Scholarship or some donations :(
No Country has it .. why not us start it .. why to Bring programs from
other countries .. ?
And after doing this .. if Parallely we get an FILMY SINGER .. nothing
wrong in it :) But that singer should also be of Kishore Da, Rafisaab’s
class .. please..
I am sure India still have these Guys hiding somewhere with lots of
creativity .. or is the creativity really Dead ??
India has completed 58 Years of Independance..yes 58 years,
it seems few days back we celebrated with lot of hue and cry our
50th Year of Independance in Capital New Delhi..
with A.R Rehman singing songs from his Hit albums.
Its 8 years since then :( and Still wee see the number of
Poor in Mumbai Local trains singing songs the same :(
Still we see the number of Poor on Traffic Lights begging for 1 Rupee
(Nowadays 5 Rupees) :(
Where exactly the Poverty going ?? Really where ?? Or its just a Illusion..
Contradictory, I see an article saying .. Poverty is definately going :(
It says .. the People wearing Chappals are increasing in India ..
Earlier they use to be BareFoot :(
It says.. The maids earlier use to ask for more work for their
childrens..so that over all income of the family increases. Now it asks
for which is the better school for her children..

Remixes of old melody songs in a vulgar way, really hurts the spirit
of the songs....in past 6 months there is no hit Indian pop album...
all we have is WAR of stupid DJ’s and short skirt school girls dancing
and exposing on old days romantic songs.
Where the hell this talent is moving too.
Pakistani artist are finding the space in Bollywood Music because Indian
singers are busy in ruining the old songs.
Recently Sonu Nigam dare to come up with an album and has
less popularity bcoz of Remixes.
Media is advertizing Night Club & Bar’s in your cities, the hyped
celebrities enjoying and dancing with half naked models.
Unnecessarily popularizing BAR GIRLS in Mumbai :( Does the Goverment
really do anything wrong by Banning Bar Girls ?
I have seen 50 or 60 years Old Guys...
(who have a daughter waiting back home), dancing and throwing
money on the Bar Girl .. :( Cant he buy some nice Gift for his Daughter or
Family back home and bring smile on their Face :(
It really sucks watching TV these days.
This Glamour world, As long as its taken just as entertainment
its just fine .. but as soon as it starts Influencing Young Children mind it
becomes obsession..
Have you seen one episode of SA RE GA MA PA Challenge 2005, where
a Girl when got Yellow Card .. her mother sitting in her Home watching
got a Heart Attack :(( why why why to Dream soo much from
your child ?
Have you seen the Talent Hunt contest of ZEE TV ’’ZEE INDIA’s BEST’’
All those participants leaving their Houses and education .. came to Mumbai
to become FILM STARS :) still they are staying in Mumbai .. acting in
small serials.. coz they were shown sooo many dreams by the Judges
’’Satish Kaushik, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ken Ghosh’’ .. we will give you films
.. you are the BEST .. and soo on .. but truth was ... these judges
also wanted FOOTAGE :(
