Saarthi is, undoubtedly, the modern Mahabharata version of today. As people say, Ghor Kalyug!, this story revolves around two families of the same ancestral origin- the Goenkas. This serial shows an immense transition between several characters where egos (such as that of Shefali) quits before truth and love (that of Bhumika). While this is the current story that is going on, it is just more than a fight. Saarthi helps us watch and learn by exhibiting morals that are forgotten today. It revives innocence, truthfulness and the will to combat against any evil. Unlike other serials that we come across, Saarthi goes on a reasonable speed which doesnt lag on irrelevant topics or issues.
The best part of Saarthi appears when their God appears. The sense of humor shown by Lord Krishna, as played by the character is extremely interesting. Kaka Saheb- the Khal Nayakof this serial is the main character who despises his step brother and his family. The character of Suraj, too, has a lot to offer where (as I assume) will marry Manasvi sooner or later as she is widowed by Kaka Sahebs evil strategy (that is still unknown by the Goenkas family). The bond of Arjun and Bhoomika sets even young hearts at fire when Saarthi displays a marriage bond where friendship, trust and love triumph! Bhoomikas immense faith in her God and herself is commendable.
So, there is just more than one reason to watch Saarthi. If you are tired of watching the typical Ekta Kapoors serial that revolve around predictable turns, its time that you switch to Saarthi and watch something that youd like to glue yourself to! I look forward to Mondays through Thursdays always! In case you live in the Gulf region, you can watch Saarthi on Star Plus from Mondays to Thursdays, 12:00 PM +3 GMT and if you missed it or want to watch it another time, it repeats on the same day at 10:30 PM +3 GMT.
