STORY -

Saathiya, is basically a love story based on post marriage relationships. Aditya and Suhani, meet on a marriage. Suhani is a MBBS student and Aditya sets up a Computer Company. They both live in Mumbai with their families. Suhani and her sister, daily go to college by local trains where the love story between Aditya and Suhani grows. Later, inspite of the disapproval of parents, they marry. As a result, both have to leave their home as their parents do not allow them to stay. They leave their home and with the help of few friends they establishes their own little world. But, like after every marriage, their starts post marriage problems. They often had small quarrels on silly issues. As, the story proceeds, their clashes become serious and serious. But, when the misconfusion between them fades, then Suhani had a very dangerous accident while crossing the road. She wents in Coma and in the end (as in every other romantic movie) she gets well and - ’’THE END.’’

ANALYSIS -

Shaad Ali has done a great job as director. Vivek and Rani are excellent both in looks and acting in the movie. Their is no comedy sequence(except a very little bit) nor a fight sequence. Acting from every other actor is good. Cinematography is weak except in the song Saathiya. Rest is OK.

MUSIC -

Music is the strongest point of the movie. In my opinion, this movie is a HIT just because of its brilliant music composed by the maestro A.R. Rahman. Title track i.e. Saathiya... is superb. Chhalka Chhalka... ; Chupke Se... ; Aye Udi Udi... are melodious tracks. Humdum Suniyo Re... and Chori Pe Chori are also good. Lyrics from Gulzaar are as always EXCELLENT. But, background score of the movie is not as much appealing as the MUSIC.

CONCLUSION -

All-n-all a great movie. It is worth watching, specially if you are going to marry soon ;)ha ha :)
