Sabar Dairy: The Taste of India
Sabar Dairy is located in Boria in the in the Sabarkantha district in the indian state of Gujarat. It is Huge property of milk and milk made products.
I did work in it, I started work firstly in Powder plant then was shifted in electrical department then in administrative department.
It was great experience as apprenticeship trainee. I explored the whole plant where I saw how people from different villages supplied their milk cans in the dairy. The cleaning process was automatic and very neat and clean. Then the milk was used to make different products like powder, curd, butter milk, paneer, ghee, butter and shrikhand.
Each product has own departments, machinery, process and employees. They all were associated with each other. Mechanical and Electrical departmental employees were responsible for all machinery working and maintenance conditions in all departments.
I saw these employees to work in three shifts. Many employees were dedicated to their work up to two shifts when need arisen.
It is the huge plant and huge number of employees work in. It caused the great product Amul the taste of India.
About salary, It was regularly given but was not handsome amount as per hard work but had job security. Here many employees were facing career growth. Work environment was very rigid kind off.
