SachPass is located in Pangi Tehsil of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. It is beautiful destination for nature lover. About this place it is to be similar like that of Rohtang Pass (Manali).
SachPass is almost full year covered with snow and have provide connection Chamba to Pangi valley in Jun to October months . As I belong to Pangi that is route to reach home. So I have go through several time. Every time there is new experience.
Once when I going to Pangi to Chamba in Jun month we started 9 A.M from Killar Pangi and we reach 1 P.M at SachPass top on Jun month it is just open week ago so there is much snow on road and side by side about 20 meter snow walls seems like we going in heaven ride where all area white and only white . At SachPass top there is temple and all of us come outside form vehicle to view that temple at that much cold breeze is blowing and that make us shivering with cold. But as mobe forward and go down the height little warm. Then we reach at Satrundi camp there we take a cup of tea after some we go to Chamba.
Other experience of SachPass when I want to go Home Pangi in month of October. In that I decided to go through bus and HRTC bus started from Chamba bus stand at sharp morning 5 A.M. All the passenger full of enthusiasm some were going to some were going first time to visit SachPass and Pangi valley . At one location there were sliding and many stones are spread on road and many passenger come out and clear the road as this road not completely develop its provide adventure trip to visitors . In october month there is much snow but there were many different type of flowers and greeny shade make this more wonderful pale flowers make different situation attractive which completely relax my mind and I feel to be lucky to get opportunity to visit many time of this Sachpass and every time new experience make me more familiar with this location and I feel more connected.
Overall it best destination to find a different location to be visit by every nature adventure lover.
At it is about 4500 meter above from sea level that may not suitable asthma patient. And due to high that location is much cold when sunny that ok if cloudy so there is need hot clothes which protect you from cold.
One more important it is only visited In Jun to October months so make sure you will visit this place in that months otherwise. It is risky location in off season. Hope you will at least once I am sure that willbe the your unforgettable trip for lifetime.
