It has become the habit of Indians to question someone who tries to be honest and loyal.
Sachin is doubted by many for involving in match fixing. I must say frankly he is above this. The following points I would like to submit on his integrity
1. He has not changed his products like others
2. He is continuing his advertisements for a longer time(for products like MRF, Boost, Pepsi etc., ).
3. He was stripped away his captaincy by BCCI Board and given to Azhar who was not dropped by Sachin as per the orders of BCCI in the Sharja Match.
4. After that he refused to Captain India but was forced to take the captaincy by Board.
5. He was asked to bat at NO.4, which he did for the country in the One dayers. The Decision to bat him at No.4 was a foolish one as the best player who has the talent to use the fielding restrictions, he should be given the chance to play the maximum overs.
6. The disadvantage Sachin had when he was a captain was he was not having, Sachin duplicate Viru, Indian Michal Bevan Yuvraj or for that matter the performing youngsters now.
I feel it is cruel to crucify a man who was very much for the country. Of course he earns a lot. But that is because of his talent and skill. I feel what Andy Flower said about sachin is true ’’Their are two kinds of players, Sachin and the rest’’ which suffice the greatness of Sachin.
He is only a Demi-God. Even God make mistake. He too will make mistakes. His runs scored against the toughest teams in the world proves his potential. If someone doubts his cricketing talents I feel their knowledge on cricket is so poor or they are not able to digest the fact that he is so famous and rated high.
Sachin always plays for the country. It is the management who has misused him by playing him in the slots where he is not comfortable.
I hope and trust Sachin will comeback strongly after his injury and prove all his critics wrong.
Keep going Sachin, you have enough steam in you. You will also make a strong second round like Mr. Brain Lara. Critics will only make you better than what you are today.
