Sachin Tendulkar is to India as David Beckham is to the English.
Much has been written about this player a ’’genius’’ but who is not without critics.Critics are quick to point out that Sachin has not performed for India when it really matters.I think that we can summarily reject this statement.Time and again he has come to the rescue of the team and his country...yet the expectations from him are enormous.
The same critics are forced to eat humble pie when he scores century after century and runs after runs.
Another criticism is that he scores against the weak teams..the truth is that he has scored the maximum test centuries against Australia which is definitely the best team in the world today.
It is better that people stop criticising him and continue to let his bat do the talking.
