Hello friends, when a movie is made, director tries to put all kinds of FILMI MASALAS into it which, however, spoils the whole movie and the concept overwhich a script writer works for years. But we do have few movie-makers who don’t sacrifice the script to the mass choice. And SADMA is one such movie. You can watch it many a times but even then there islot more to seek, to yeild and enjoy. When the audience goto watch any movie, they’ve got a mindset but whenthey find something different, then they put the task of analyzing the whole idea and it decides the ultimate fate of the movie. But who cares what the mass says, a good movie is good even if people campletely deny it. So lets look into the different aspects of this FILLUM.

Story in the nut-shell: -
Sri Devi meets with an accident and becomes like a small girl. Later she happens to meet Kamal and then the story starts. Kamal falls in love with her and takes her to his house wherein he takes care of this poor girl for around a year. Like a small baby he nurtures her with utmost care and love. But who can fight with fate, one fine day she becomes alright and goes back home but while going back, Kamal tries to make her remind of the past that, as per now, she’s not aware of.....and the story ends.

She proves her abilities once again. Though the original movie also featured her and fetched her the NATIONAL AWARD, SADMA speaks of her impeccable acting skills. Can anyone imagine any other actress playing this role now, naaaaaaaaaaaa. She’s ultimate and the only word that comes to the mind after watching the movie is "FANTABULOUS". She’s perfect. The THUNDER THIES gives such adorable defination to the art of acting that for once all critics went gaga over her and asked for more that she delivered through movies like CHANDNI, LAMHE and so on so forth.
Her transition from one characterto another is fantastic. She can do all that with so much of ease.
Kamal Hassan: -
what to say about this artist. He’s one of the best actors we have today. His performances in movies lke SAGAR, EK DUJE KE LIYE remind us of his acting capabilities. Even now he can run the complete movie over his shoulders. Simply great to watch him acting over the silver screen. It’s towards the END that onecomes to know the true actor in KAMAL. The way he acts, he makes everyone cry for the incredible performance. His tuning with Sri is not great but in the movie they just keep you glued to the screen.
Others: -
There wasn’tmuch space for other artists. Hence can’t speak much about them but whatever they did added to the charm and beauty of the movie.
Direction: -
Director knew what he wanted, therefore movie came out so well and did so well even after such a tragic end. The Directors were superb and knew their work well unlike the few we have today. They didn’t sacrifice the movie to the taste of the audience.......
Music: -
Music given by ILAYARAJA was awesome. Every chord was touching and kept the audience stuck and it is happening even today. Especially nanhi ankhiyon mein and ae zindagi gale... were great. Great work by the musician and the lyricist.
