Are they misleading ???

I know most of the people prefer Masala oats over plain oats, but the that arises is Whether it is as healthy as the former one? .


The company have added some salt, vegetables, oil to the plain oats and prsented us the Masala Oats. They claim that we substitute our breakfast for the Saffola Masala Oats.


But if we look at the ingredients contain section at the backside of the masala oats’ packet, we will see that the product contains 75% of oats and the rest 25% of the product contains:


Dried Hydrogenated vegetables, salt, spices, sugar and excess amount of stabilisers, wheat powder, flavour enhancers and ediable vegetable oil.


So I don’t think I can consider this product as a healthy option if I want to loose weight, or people having blood pressure problem, hypertention, or thoe who have water retaintion problem especially avoid the Masala Oats strictly.


All those who are strict about their health and healthy life style, the Plain Oats should be prefered. The option of replacing plain oats with Masala Oats should be reconsidered.
