I visit Sagar Ratna every once in a while because it is very convenient for me to visit there as it is located near my house.The food is excellent there and also the prices are reasonable.
This is the restaurant that introduced Mumbai-style Udupi idli-dosa dishes to Delhi. Spread over three floors, it still serves some of the best dosas and vadas in North India. Service is briskly efficient and prices remain low for the area. Among the traditional favourites is the Mysore Masala Dosa, with a spicy chutney smeared on the inside of each dosa and dahi vadas that are deliciously cool in the summer.
There is nearly always a queue at meal times, so you give your name to the man at the door and waiting times rarely exceed 15 minutes. So the ambience is nice and the decor is good too.
Despite of being crowded all the time, the food is served within a few minutes which shows their excellent customer service.
It is definitely worth the value for both money and time for anyone as the food is extremely good.
