Well... I thought I wont be writing a review about this dealer. But, as many of us depend MS for making decision, I will pen down what happened with me...
After I sold my Unicorn (2006 model)(was a bad decision) in December, I wanted another 150cc bike.. So.. thought of Unicorn (new model), hunk and cbz xtreme..I wanted a change from Unicorn and I thought of CBZ and HUNK from Hero Honda (atleast Honda exists in HeroHonda ;) )
I used CBZ of my friends and I was not sure whether I will buy as I have a wife now ;) ! she cant get into it easily...Next option was Hunk.
I visited the nearest HeroHonda dealer SAI Motors which is on BSK 3rd stage outer ringroad (Near to Mysore road) Kathriguppe...Big show room... I was welcomed by one gentleman named Raghavendra(Raghav) [Guy from andra I gues.. he keeps talking telugu over phone]
I asked about hunk and he asked me to have a test drive.. He gave me a test drive and I was happy with the performance .. it was smooth unlike other HH bike which makes noise when changing gear from 1->2.I asked about finance and he said we have **"zero percent scheme" **and another gentleman told about the scheme.. 25000 will be loan amount and need to pay in 6 to 8 installment and they charge **2500 for 6 to 8 month as interest**..
Frankly speaking I didnt understand **zero percent and 2500Rs for 6 month**s ! they didnt have more EMI. Loan is from Family Credit. So, I asked him about 2009 make as it is January 2009. Chasis numberwill matter while selling (make of manufacturing will be 2008 otherwise)
He told me to wait till January end.. I gave my number and told him to inform me when 2009 make comes. I told him I will try to wait ! After that, I contacted almost all the HeroHonda dealers in B’lore and asked about 2009 model. Everyone said "Feb last or March.. ".
Meanwhile I visited to suzuki to get test drive of GSR150. Since they were not giving test drive, I thought of getting back to Hunk. On 24th January, gentleman from SAi motors( Raghav) called up and told me that he can arrange 2009 vehicle if I pay the money/advance. he assured me on 27th as 26th is replublic day
So, I went on 27th and asked about the details. He said "you can pay some advance so that I can keep that model for you"
My wife immediately said "yes yes.. anyway we have to pay, we will pay advance" and we paid just 500Rs . and told I will just see whether I can arrange a finance myself as their 6 or 8 EMI was not any use.
later me decided to pay full cash and get it. Next day, we both went to pay and Mr, Raghav was not there in the shop. He told me to wait and I couldnt wait as wife had to go to office. I told him that I will be there in the afternoon...
Afternoon, I went with my friend (who own a CBZ Extreme).. Initially he said "We dont charge for creditcard/debitcard". When I asked "if I pay from credit card, would there be any problem"? (just asked to know whether he has deviated from his word), he said "we charge 1.6% above 5000. anyways, it wasnt bothering much as I was paying by cash..
He told me to go 3rd floor and select the vehicle. We went to 2nd floor instead of 3rd floor. And I asked the labour to show me the 2009 make hunk.. he said "no 2009.. only 2008" another 1-2 months for 2009 vehicle.. and he showed me the backside sticker for manufactured date ....all were june/july 2008
then I called him from my mobile and told me to go to third floor..
i went to third floor and surprisingly, all the stickers were torn and removed from backside so that we wont see the manufactured date..
then I went down and asked.. he started like "even if you get 2008, nothing will be there.. in RC book 2009 only will come" . I politely said "if I wanted like that, why the hell did I wait all these long. I could have got this in jan 1st itself".
he was literally cheating me. I met the manager and he told me that 2009 model hasnot come...
I know you guys maynot bother about make/model.. But I care as I had issue selling my previous ones (got less price because of 1 year back) !! they say 2008 model.. nobody will say 2009 model...
for 500Rs, I had to wait 30 minutes... the other staff was saying in kannada thinking I wont understand("thumba problems koduthayidhe 1 weekinda")..
We are customers.. so they should atleast behave well.. rather than abusing us...
anyway, stay away from them or be confident about**what you are buying*
