As my personal experience
We stayed 3 nights at the Equatorial - booked 4 rooms. Had 2 rooms that were adjoining - best thing we did so kids had their own space and we had 3 awesome nights’ sleep! Because of it’s location, the hotel is not a tourist spot but great for us who wanted a quiet getaway. We practically had the pool to ourselves and kids loved it. Rooms were spacious but getting a little dated. We noted that some extensive renovations were happening in another nearby wing. Generally very clean, service was really good, parking was free. Point to note - always get the reception staff to clearly spell out what is available for the price ie. we had 2000 to spend on food per room, per day - didn’t really know that without asking. Will definitely return to stay.
