What a person wants in his life, plus what he has lost? A fantastic ups and downs of Love, Sacrifice, and Faith have been shown in this movie. Saiyaara is the next youth romantic movie where we can compare or stand it in the list of Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and Malang.
Casting:-
Hot and Dashing, Ahaan Panday as Krish Kapoor and the pretty and cute Aneet Padda as Vaani Batra in the leads in the movie. And, they both killed it as their debut movie. There was not a sign of extras like overacting or unnecessary things.
Other than them, Alam Khan as KV(Krishs Friend) and Geeta Sharma as Vaanis Mother touched my heart with their comedy and caring acting.
Story:-
The story of Saiyaara is a little bit similar to Aashiqui 2, where I have seen a scene where Krishs Friend KV gives him such advice of chasing his dreams instead of caring for Vaani. Also, when our lead couple vanishes away to find peace in Alibaug, same as Aashiqui 2s, when Rahul and Aarohi went away too. This scene resembles one in Aashiqui 2, where Rahuls Friend does the same. A Father becomes completely lost in alcohol after his wifes death and doesnt care for his son, Krish Kapoor. A past of Vaani Batra, where her fianc, named Mahesh, ditched her on the day of marriage, and she got Alzheimers, on one hand, she is dealing with this and lost her ability to write, and hence, she met Krish on her journey and fell in love again. Dealing with her disease, many hurdles came, but overall, they dealt with it very nicely and ended up getting married in the end.
Some scenes made me and the entire audience feel emotional, such as all the scenes where Vaani forgets about Krish. Also, when she stabbed him with a knife while she was in her hallucination, the entire audience was shocked. I can hear "Aww"(in an embarrassed and sad way) sound echoing in the entire theatre hall. I can even hear abusive words starting with the "F" letter when Vaani mistakenly calls Krish by her ex, Mahesh.
But a happy ending is always what every person wants. Its a Mohit Suri film, so before its release, I had predicted that someone, Vaani or Krish, was going to die. But this time, Mohit Suri has given us a happy ending.
Music:-
As compared to Aashiqui 2, where it has 10 hit songs, Saiyaara has made it go boom in just 7 songs. The Title Track is itself spreading and trending like crazy. They released the female version of the title track in the movie only, in the climax. Of course, the voice of Shreya Ghosal has killed every aspect of the nerve of the brain.
Remaining songs like "Dhun" remind me of the "Sun Raha Hai" song from Aashiqui 2. Rest like "Humsafar" and "Barbaad" create a special place in my heart too.
In conclusion, according to me, this movie is not a one-timer. For experiencing what love is, people can see this movie. I felt love, sadness, tears, hurt, and cheerfulness while watching this movie. For some scenes, it is not a family movie, at least we cant enjoy it while sitting with our parents. Some of the intimate scenes and negative things, like smoking and drinking, are shown.
