The word soon gets around, and Salaam-e-ishq is a super-hit, all the hard-working, brow-sweating laborers of Mumbai laud Nikhil Advani and request that his next movie be as boring, a multi-starrer and a five-hourer. Where else in Mumbai-shaher can you get to spend 5 hours in an AC room in the hot afternoons for Rs100 - wah wah, wah wah.
And Sohail Khan and Isha Koppikar become the corner stone for the movies success, since that may the only part of the movie most folks understood and enjoyed.
I think you would enjoy that part, too. The rest of the stories may have made good films in themselves

But to his credit Nikhil tried, he tried, he tried, he tried, he has been trying to get out from under KJ, which finally he did with KHNH in 2003(which was refreshing) and then he lost his editor - meaning the film should have been 45min shorter and 3 stories lesser, tossed out 1-2 more songs etc. etc.
