IRRITATING, INCOHERENT, IMMATURISH, HALF BAKED, BORNING, TOO LONG, CLITCHED, PURPOSELESS, BASELESS, JERDY, LIFELESS, ARTIFICIAL.So many bad words came into my mind but due to lack of space I cant write all of them.
Anyways, this is the biggest disappointment of the new year. All are aware that 2006 was a great year that almost all of the big banner films, hyped movies and even overly hyped sequels worked big time on both boxoffice and critics’ books and almost all of the big budget films become superhits and blockbusters. So when at the start of the new year 2007 when a film that was really gigantic and BIG with never seen before massive cast crashed at your expactations then the disappointment is for sure.
After watching this so called big but actually a very small film, I simply mouthed two famous sentences
NAAM BADE AUR DARSHAN CHOTE
and
UNCHI DUKAAN PHEEKA PAKWAAN
If it would be a B class small budgeted film then there was no problem, but with KHNH director after 4 years and a huge huge talented cast u can only expact another HAKHK or DDLJ or atleast another blockbuster or minimum a universal superhit film with very innovative sunject and fresh treatment. But what u see is a very cliched b class film with halfy baked stories that r stolen from various films with no creative screen play and gripping presentation.
The various story idea is good and was depicted beautifully in DARNA MANA HAI(despite of its boxoffice results) but it looks simply unbearable in this flik.
Most of the couples’ story is repititive, lifeless, and looked incomplete .only the sohail Isha scenes were good and thats just because the director never TRIED to present any LOGIC behind this track. All of the actors were wasted despite of their good performacnes because of a simply bad film.
Sets were as usuan, and nothing innovative. Specially in the last scene when Priyanks watches Slman walking on the upper floor of the wedding mundap, the ANARI cameraman just shown that it is a big artificial shaadi set that is fixed on a film studio floor.
Boottomline. avoid this crap at acy cost. NOT EVEN ON DVD(unless u have the enough patience to tolerate such torture)
