The Plot - Nick ( Saif ) is a Chef and Amber ( Preity ) is a RJ. Nick falls in love with Amber within 3 days and asks her to stay with her ie Live together to try out their new found love. They r happy together until Amber finds out that she is pregnant. thats where the story takes a turn......
Well, Indian films r finally coming of age. This is completely new topic which hasnt been copied or tried out earlier. Though many scenes in the movie still remind u of ’’ Bollywood masala ’’ . The movie is fast paced, something which we dont get to see in movies. Actually, many times , u feel that the director is just jumping from one scene to next abruptly, but I think it was imp. to finish the movie within 2 hrs 30 mins. !
The songs r gud , and am very happy that there r only 4 in this movie , instead of usual 7-8 in every movie ! ! Background music and sound mixing is also gud, actually one of the plus points of the movie. It gives a lively feel to it. Camera effects and dialogue writing could have been better.
this is one of the most anticipated movies of the year ! We get to see Saif and Preity pair again after KHNH ... Preity is looking gorgeous , lively, ’ bubbly ’ , as usual, and Saif still hasnt lost his charm yet which we saw in KHNH and Hum Tum. They both have done amazing acting and I dont think anyone else could fit the role, or there could have been a better pair for this movie.
The supporting cast has also done a gud job. Arshad Warsi is at his best. But one person worthy of mention is Javed Jaffri ...The audience just burst out laughing at the sight of this guy. That guy has a wonderful screen - presence.
Now the Cons - I dint like the ending though...They tried something like Nine Month’s ending , which definitely dint suit the movie. Plus, the guest appearance by Abhishek Bachhan seemed wasted. I mean they could have presented him in a different manner.
The first half was well made, with the usual girl -boy fight and patching up . Second half has been dealt properly, but it lacked energy . The 2 songs in the second part were very boring and out of place.
Overall, I was expecting a movie as gud as KHNH. But somehow , it was missing that spirit . Anyways, everyone should watch this movie once for a well-written plot which has been handled properly, and gud acting by Saif and Preity .
