Salar jung museum is one of the sightseeing place at Hyderabad, Salar jung-III handover the Nawab’s collection to the Government . Salar Jung’s full name is Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Bahadur Salar Jung III .
This museum was located exactly southeren bank of river Musi and near to old city
The Museum is completely different types of collections from different countries.And the Museum is divided into 5 sections they are:- 1. Indian art 2.Middle Eastern Art 3.Far Eastern Art 4.European Art and 5.Children’s section
Indian art of objects are stone sculptures, bronze images, painted textiles, wood carvings, jade carvings, metal ware, manuscripts arms etc.
Middle Eastern Art objects are carpets, manuscripts(paper), ceramics, glass, metal ware furniture etc. from Persia, Syria and Egypt
Far Eastern means the objects are from Sino-Japanese of porcelain, bronze, enamel, embroidery, paintings etc
Children’s section is completely different types of books and manuscripts.

Ticket Cost for the general peopleis 20/-RS and for the foreign people is 500/-RS
one of the canteen also available in this museum for snacks, cooldrinks, ice creams etc.
