Let me explain certain things, just because the fee is low doest mean that the quality will also be good. It will have serious repercussions on the quality of education that will be delivered to the students. No institute can sustain on low fee, eventually they wont be able to hire experts. Take the case of IIMs which happened in the period of NDA government. The then HRD minister Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi tried to slash the fees of IIMs to Rs.30, 000/- from the fee that was prevailing at that time. All the IIMs directors had objected to it stating that they wont be able to provide the kind of quality education IIMs are known best for. Everything comes for a price so does education, in our country. And some people are just looking at ways to make money out of it by giving fake commitments.
Always remember to go for an AICTE affiliated institute. MBA is a technical course who so ever denies this is a fool. AICTE & UGC are bodies which are there to regulate things like any other government autonomous bodies. You might get campus placement then what will happen when you want to shift to another company. Experience does counts so does your degree. There are many institutes like SRMI now a days, some are big and some are bigger. Take the case of IIPM, ISBF, ICOFP. They are all the same. Just remember to score good scores in CAT, MAT or XAT get through the top institutes and do well in yiur life. I currently work for a MNC based out of Mumbai. We here at our organization hire thousands of MBA grads each year, when we do the scrutiny of resume we do it to reject it not to accept it as there is so stiff competition to be NO 1. Just play smart....
