Samsara is a story of a young monk and about the choices he makes. It is also a story of a young woman and her struggle to prevent her enlightened lover from renouncing everything and take on the path of spiritual destiny.
The story is set in the backdrops of pristine landscapes of Laddakh, Himalayas. Samsara is a search to find answers to most difficult questions and choices that most of us are hounded with once in a while. The movie is quite lengthy - 2 and a half hours long. But the duration is justified and has intense moments to keep you busy. An important point about the movie is that you have to watch it closely.
