This is the perfect LCD TV for a bedroom or other smaller room. It has a brilliant picture, great menus and the side mounted speakers are fine for average listening. It has two HDMI inputs so connection to a cable set top box is a snap. The unit has a graphic equalizer so you can shape the sound to your listening pleasure. Often I read reviews of smaller TVs where the reviewer downgrades the speakers. I was concerned about this when we started looking for a 26" set. My fears were for naught. It isn’t "home theater" quality but it isn’t the tinny sound some people describe. It’s lightweight and can be moved from room to room with little effort. Highly recommended.
