I had bought Samsung 5500 LED 32in TV through ebay 10months ago,
3 months after buying I could notice dirt like grey patches on screen and ignored it,
But it started to spread like cancer cell all around the screen in next 5 months,
I finally called up samsung Service centre.
They had a DAY LOOTING policy,
They said since it is bought online.No warranty is covered.
Our service charge is 5000 and 14.5% tax.You also have to pay for the spare if needed to change.
Then I asked for the rough estimation.I was totally shocked.
Because the service charge and spares cost together came around 100% of a new TV cost.
I said it is hard earned money.Please do not play around.
But they said.we have a policy .
I name it "DAY LOOTING" police.Under which it is chargeable for everything.
So whoever wants to buy samsung, please think twice.
They will sell the defective product first and will make you pay for service and spares later.
Be aware of these day light looters.
LG looks even better.Much Cheaper and service is good,
I hate SAMSUNG.
