We purchased Samsung AS185USBNXTL split ac from the Samsung showroom in Parle West. It so happened, that the mechanic fitted the ac in our living room and demonstrated how to use it and went to attend another customer. In no less than 10 mins the indoor unit of our ac started dripping. We kept a bucket below the ac so as to save our house from being flooded and called the mechanic. He opened the entire unit to inspect which no customer should allow. To our shock, all he had to say was that erroneously a wrong pipe was fitted in this piece and he would be using M-Seal to rectify this problem!
We contacted their service franchise to report this and we were told that even if they replaced 10 pieces of this ac, we will face the same problem. When we objected to the M-Seal idea, we were told by the mechanic that he will replace it with a new drainage pipe next day for sure. We are still waiting for his next day.Then we contacted the showroom where we booked this ac and were told that the mechanic will replace the pipe b/w 2-4 p.m. today.
Again, we are still waiting for his 2-4 p.m.
I would say that No ones invited to buy a Samsung ac. Lest you wanna have rains in the midst of summer in your living room.
