I should say , Like lot others I believed in the Samsung brand as I was impressed by the Samsung TV had brought when Samsung had just entered Indian Market. But the AC did enough damage to reverse my opinion every way... within months of buying the control panel on the Unit gave off.. the AC does not cool properly even when set to 18 degree .last week when it had completed 5 years ... the compressor konked off .. I called Samsung Service . they took away my AC with the promise to fill gas I paid Rs 3900
But when it was returned after so called repair .. I found that there was no cooling at all....the service agency took back the AC ... and I was told that the compressor had gone bad.... after a fight I managed to get back the money I had spent on repair minus the transportation charges.Looking for a scrap dealer to get rid of this Samsung AC... and buy some known brand in AC like the Carrier .... or our own Voltas
My honest advice is Do no buy Samsung AC
