I am based in Hyderabad and after seeing all the T.V ads bought a Samsung corby touch phone almost 8 months back in Chandigarh during one of my trips. The phone worked well but stopped working two months back. The problem reported is that the touchpad is not longer working and has to be replaced. Two problems arose
As I was unable to show the original bill the repair charges have to be collected.
The touch pad is not available in India and has to be imported. This is still pending for the past 2 months.
There is only one service point in Secunderabad for this who is most uncooperative. He does not even attend to his phone calls and in-spite of several visits has not been able to solve the problem. There is no recourse and the phone is practically dead for the last two months.
The whole experience was extremely disappointing and I have now switched over to a Nokia handset which is much more reliable.
How can a reputed company like Samsung do this!!
