Fridge are meant to last a long long time, but our fridge broke down in just under 1.5 years. We called the good guys and they told us to contact Samsung India in regards to warranty. We lost all the grocery we bought in the weekend(approx RS 1200) and we had to wait for nearly 2 weeks for a technician to come. They were not apologetic when responding on Facebook chat. They kept repeating how they would get someone to look at it and nothing about the compensation of the lost of grocery and living a whole week without a fridge! Lucky for us, we can afford to eat out that whole time. Imagine how horrible it would be if we were low-income earners with a whole family to feed!
When the technician came, he simply said it was a "faulty" computer board. I have lost confidence in Samsung completely and we are afraid once our warranty expires, the fridge will break down again. We’ve had Samsung fridge before that lasted for many years without any issues. I guess new Samsung products are built to last. Overall, horrible experience.
