I bought this cell almost a year and a half ago and it is still with me and working very fine. So I am writing a review on this cell as it is very durable and easy to use.
1) This is an Android phone with Ginger Bread OS(version 2.3), which is more preferable for people with rough use.
2) It has a 8MHz processor.
3) It is very affordable as I got this cell for Rs.12, 500 when Android phones are generally of higher range. It is still in the market and costs cheaper, something around Rs.7000.
4) The range of features it provides are very wide.
5) I will start with the screen size and it is perfect, as in, not too small and not too big like most of the Android phones today which are good only for show but are not handy due to their large sizes. And also, this is the appropriate size, especially for girls.
6) Its body is sleek, fantastic and much better than Galaxy Y.
7) It weighs 113 g, which is very light and feels good in hand.
8) It has Thin Film Transistor(TFT) capacities touchscreen with 16 M colors.
9) It also provides multi-touch.
10) It has Bluetooth and USB transfer facility.
11) Its sound reception is very good as the voice heard is very clear even when there is disturbance around. The sound alert type it provides are vibration, mp3, wav ringtones. It also has a loudspeaker. It also has a Stereo FM radio with RDS.
12) It has a 2 GB inbuilt memory which can be extended up to 32 GB. It has a 158 MB internal storage and 278 MB internal RAM. Its internal memory is insufficient if you want to have many apps. Also, the apps cannot be moved to external memory.
14) It has a 5 MP camera, which also has auto focus and LED flash and the picture quality is very clear. The camera also has Geo-tagging, face and smile detection features. It also has a secondary camera. However, it fails to have a shutter key for the camera. The video quality is also great and it supports all video formats.
15) It has Thinkfree Office which helps to view the large number of word documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, presentations and also allows to edit them.
16) It is compatible with Google Navigation. The internet surfing is fast, meaning the interface, except for a few times when it is slow if the cell hangs. It has synchronized g mail and g talk. It also has WiFi.
17) It also offers security which will lock the phone and can be unlocked only when the saved pattern, pin or password is entered.
18) In short, it is very easy to use. Also, as I said, it is durable and reliable too.
However, apart from all these advantages, it also has disadvantages which cant be neglected or ignored.
1) The internal memory is low and so you cannot have many apps and I, personally have a problem with this because I access Facebook via cell which takes in a lot of memory. I have encountered a fault because whenever I try to install a new app, many times I get a message saying memory full, even when its not.
2) The screen quality degrades after little use.
3) It does not support Adobe Flash in the web browser.
4) The battery life is really low. Meaning, if you are constantly using the phone, may be for talking, messaging, calling or listening songs, then it will work for maximum 3-4 hours which is not good in my opinion. This is a big reason for many to not buy this phone.
5) Secondly, it hangs a lot and it is very irritating because when you are doing something important, such interruption cannot be tolerated. The phone hangs to such an extent that you will have to restart it and restarting the phone will take all the more time and this entire process is very frustrating.
In short, I would suggest or recommend this to people who use phone only when its needed and dont spend much time on phone. But you cannot avoid the fact that you get an Android phone which has all the latest features at such a cheap rate.
