Definitely not a phone for you at this price. No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very poor battery backup. Even if you do not use the phone 50% battery is drained overnight. Phone gets locked while talking and you need to tap on home button then double tap the screen to unlock the screen and then disconnect the call. Could have been more user friendly.
Earphone speaker side heats up very quickly and quite often.No light sensors makes this handset difficult to use. Low internal physical memory, only1.7gb useful memory.
Pros
Camera quality is fairly ok. Works fine in better light conditions.Speaker sound is also ok at this price range.Touch screen has bit of a lag but cant ask for more fir smartphones at this price range. Dual sim feature is useful.
