I bought this phone for my mother for a bargain price of Rs 7900 at the local shop( MRP is Rs 8900) . We are very happy with the performance of this phone. Prior to buying this phone I read negative reviews about some network problem with this phone. But thankfully, the phone does not have any problem at all. Samsung has also released some security updates for the phone. The AMOLED display is awesome and the phone is responsive. It also plays most of the games without any lag - I have not tried the games myself but I watched a video on Youtube that showed all the heavy duty games being played on this phone.
And friends - NO HEATING at all. If you are looking for a good smart phone at a budget friendly price, then I recommend Samsung J2. I also bought a back cover for Rs 150 and a tempered glass for Rs 200 to fit on this phone. You get lots of accessories for this phone.
A fully charged battery easily lasts for a full day( with normal use) .
What influenced me to buy a Samsung phone over its competitors is their excellent network of service centers. Within the warranty period of 1 year, if your phone gets damaged, you can take your phone to one of the numerous Samsung service centers dotting your city and it will be repaired free of cost. When you pay so much money to buy a cell phone, service is very important.
On the down side though, the camera is not up to expectations. But it meets my mother’s needs quite well.
